He's Not Finished With Me Yet

"'For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

This verse has never felt more real and pressing than it has for the past few days. God has a specific plan for my life. It's tailored fit for me. His plans are ripe for the picking and the possibilities are endless. He has laid an exciting and fruitful adventure ahead of me. There are endless things I could say about the plans God has for me. It's exciting, hope filled, scary, exhilarating, thrilling, invigorating, freeing, and liberating.

At the risk of sounding boastful, I am excited as I look back over the past few months and years and see how I have grown. Because of God and Jesus' power, I have become more forgiving, more loving, more outgoing, and more patient. The only reason I've been able to do this is because God is my rock, my constant, my unmoving place.

The thing that REALLY makes the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 exciting is Job 42:2, "I know that you (God) can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted."

Also, Psalm 33:10-11 says, "The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples; but the plans of the Lord stand forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations."

God has ROCK SOLID plans for every one of us.

He won't forget those plans.

He's not finished.
